NJSDA Director Beth Baur receives an Honorable Mention in the Tony Award's Excellence in Theatre Education!
This annual honor recognizes a K-12 theatre educator in the U.S. who has demonstrated monumental impact on the lives of students and who embodies the highest standards of the profession. Over the past months, several rounds of judging have taken place, with a final panel of judges comprised of the American Theatre Wing, The Broadway League, Carnegie Mellon University and other leaders from the theatre industry selecting the winner, two finalists and 20 honorable mentions from more than 1,100 qualified entries.
The NJ School of Dramatic Arts has comprehensive acting / musical theater / improvisation and TV & Film training programs for the beginning actor to the working professional. Classes are available at all levels for Adults, Teens, and Children and are taught by industry professionals from Theater, TV, and Film.
There is so much to celebrate at the New Jersey School of Dramatic Arts as we continue in our 12th year as New Jersey's premiere acting school, especially the success of so many of our students (adults, teens and children) who are working in theater, film and television as actors and directors.
