Young Actors Workshop Camp
(Grades 3-5)

Kids learn the fundamentals of acting in a fun, supportive and creative atmosphere. Through theatre games and improvisation, students concentrate on the basics of acting: the who, where, why and how. Students will then apply these concepts to basic scene work. The last session includes an open class for family and friends.

Tween/ Teen Acting Camp

Spend your week with like-minded and ambitious young actors as you explore and deepen your acting technique. Using fun theater games, acting exercises, and performance skills, students will rehearse and perform scenes from contemporary plays. You will be taught the same proven technique used in our Adult acting classes. Have a blast and grow.

Young Actors Workshop Performance Camp
(Grades 3-5)

In this highly creative performance camp, students will perform sketch comedy skits and funny bits using the short plays. The final high energy, hilarious performance will be performed on the last day. Students will participate in a daily warm-up, play fun theater games, create characters using their voice and bodies, and prepare a final performance! Kids learn the fundamentals of acting in a fun, supportive and creative atmosphere. Through theatre games and improvisation, students concentrate on the basics of acting: the who, where, why and how. Students will then apply these concepts to basic scene work.

Tween/ Teen TV & Film Camp

This week long on camera course will teach students about the TV commercial and the TV / film industry. By working on camera, students will learn how to prepare for the commercial audition and how to approach written material for TV and Film (while also exploring choice, size and physicality in front of the camera)

Tween/ Teen Acting Performance Camp

Perform a Play! During this two-week play production camp, students recieve a script, rehearse a production, and perform their play! Directed by award winning, 3 time Excellence in Education Tony Award Honeree, Beth Baur! Have a blast working on a full length comedy one-act. Students will act, create costumes and set, and tell the story. Everyon will have a showcase part! No audition is required for this camp. Show on Friday Aug 5th.

Tween/ Teen Musical Theatre Performance Camp

In this fun, non-competitive camp, students are introduced to the most important element of Musical Theater: the Voice! By using group numbers and solos, students will learn about vocal technique, proper breathing, diction, projection, the basics of reading music and best of all, the joy of singing! At the same time, students will be introduced to acting through a song" by exploring and interpreting the lyrics of the song. This Broadway Song Mix will culminate with a performance on the last day!

Tween/ Teen Improv Performance Camp

The camp starts off with games and exercises reviewing the basics of improvisation, then the students dive into developing performance pieces for a final showcase! Using short-form improv games, the group will perform together as a troupe and their work will be recorded and put together like an episode of “Who’s Line is it Anyway”! The camp will finish with a special live viewing of the final project for invited parents and guests!

Advanced Improv (Improv Level 2 - Adult Class)

Students will now build on the fundamental rules of improvisation. In the first half of this course, you will learn the basics of improvising a scene and how to keep it afloat. In the second half, we will incorporate all of the rules of improv by working on performance games.

*Prerequisite: Successful completion of Intro to Improv or by permission of the instructor.
